Our structured Pre-school program can be followed by the children up to 5 years and 1 month, which is child-orientated and has teacher-guided learning. Our classes provide a home-like atmosphere of informality, security and planned/unplanned experiences in which children can learn and grow.
Our Pre-School program runs daily from 08:30 – 14:00 and minimum 2 days per week attendance recommended.
We have 4 classes with children ranging from 0 to 5 years, who are grouped in similar age groups.
A healthy snack and a warm, home made lunch are served during the morning. The price also includes the diapers.
The Pre-School program is based on the Texas Curriculum (TEA – Texas Education Agency). This program is a high-quality early childhood model, based on proven school readiness components including:
– High quality, developmentally appropriate and rigorous curriculum
– Continuous student progress monitoring
– Professional development for teachers, including mentoring
Curriculum has been especially developed with expat and multi-lingual children at it’ s heart and it is based on learning through play. This has been shown to lead to significant growth in children’s intellectual and social development, both of which are critical to their future academic success.
What does Zo International Childcare offers to your family?
Home like environment
As much as possible we try to create a warm and interesting atmosphere in our childcare facilities for the children where children can safely grow.
At Zo International Childcare we serve two warm, healthy, homemade meals per day. Next to that the children receive healthy snacks with lots of fruits and raw vegetables.
Loving and caring teachers
The teachers at Zo International Childcare are all passionate teachers who love their jobs. They do every day their best to make sure that the children are happy.
Lots of extra activities
Next to the well stuctured curriculum we always like to do more! Like decorating the childcare buildings with the children, dancing, making music, learn the Dutch language, go to the gym, library, field trips…
Learning through play
Our curriculum is designed in a way that children don’t even notice how many things they learn daily. According to them they are just playing and having fun!
Truly international place
Most of the staff members are from all around the world just like the families who we serve. This is why we believe that our childcare center should be more than just a center where we care for children. We would like to serve our expat community and bring us closer together.
